Who are the Concepció Juvanteny Foundation? Concepció Juvanteny Foundation is an organization that since its foundation has been dedicated to offering housing to children at risk of exclusion up to the age of 18. Right now they have 80 kids in their arms to whom they have lovingly explained to us that these underwear will make them very excited to receive. Remember that this donation is thanks to you.

Every year tons of fishing nets are thrown away in the ocean. Every year tons of garbage end up in the sea. If the situation does not change, in 2050 we will have more garbage than fish in our seas and oceans.
This data had a profound impact on us and we looked for a way to collaborate. We discovered the ECONYL® yarn. A sustainable yarn made from fishermen’s nets abandoned at sea among other discarded materials.
Through a complex and sustainable production process, these abandoned nets and other materials are converted into high-quality polyamide yarn; which it turns out is the fabric we use to make our swimsuits. Thus, among all of us, we clean the seas while giving a second life to these fishing nets. Is it nice, right?

Childhood sleep is an important topic. And as we already discussed in previous posts, resting well is essential for the development of the little ones in the house. But how many hours should my child sleep?

Natural cotton
Cotton is always natural, it is a natural vegetable textile fiber, so by definition it is a natural fiber. Being told that it is natural cotton does not contribute with anything, since it always is.
Sustainable cotton
Sustainable cotton is produced in a more environmentally friendly way. For example, less water than usual has been used in its care. Within the sustainable fabrics we find recycled cotton, BCI cotton and organic cotton. All 3 are cottons that, for different reasons, are more respectful of nature and do not compromise the future development of the planet.

Organic cotton comes from certified organic farming. This cotton has not used pesticides, insecticides or any other toxic substances to grow. And, consequently, it has not undergone any process of genetic alteration. Therefore, it is ecological, natural and sustainable.
By not using pesticides or herbicides in its cultivation, it respects the environment, protects the land and its workers and is a more respectful fabric with our skin.

How important is the rest of children and families. It is a subject that has brought us upside down since they were babies. And it is not surprising that we are concerned because, as Carmen Romero (Child and Family Psychologist) tells us, their good development, their state of mind, their good health and well-being depend on good rest.

Kids grow fast and we suddenly realize that the underwear that fitted perfectly just some months before is already starting to look thighter. Without thinking too much, we buy a larger one to solve the problem. But beware! It is not that easy! Keep in mind the following points to make the right choice and make sure your child is comfortable, cute and safe.
Natural fiber material
Underwear is in intimate contact with child’s skin and therefore it is important that the fabric is cotton. Cotton is a natural fiber and more respectful with the child’s skin than other synthetic fibers.

Just as important as the fabric is the pattern of the garment. It has to be specifically designed to fit a child’s body, which is very different from adult patterns.
In addition, for a better fit and long-term preservation of the garment, it is recommended that the underwear has a small percentage of elastane, so that the pattern adapts better and does not deform with the passage of time and washing.
Soft and nice touch.
A pleasant and soft touch is ideal to make children feel comfortable in their underwear. Briefs and slips/boxers are worn for many hours and have to be very soft to feel like a second skin.
